December 2006 - The MED Receives 2006 Regional Emmy Recognition for Video Series:
The Regional Medical Center at Memphis will receive recognition for a video series at the 21st Annual Nashville/Mid-South Regional Emmy Awards to be held on January 27 in Nashville. The video segment was part of The MED Foundationís Televised Telethon which aired on WREG-TV in August 2005. The Young Sanford Agency conducted more than 30 interviews of former MED patients over the spring and summer of 2005 which were featured in The Foundationís second annual Telethon titled, ě Code MED: Life On The Line.î Young Sanford traveled to locations throughout the Mid-South with News Channel 3 videographers to conduct the interviews and videotape the segments. Further assistance was provided in writing and editing the short segments for airing during the 2005 MED Foundation Telethon. Young Sanford also conducted all of the interviews associated with the previous MED Telethon which aired in 2004.
December 2006 - LeMoyne-Owen College Maintains Accreditation:
The Young Sanford Agency provides crisis media management assistance to such clients as LeMoyne-Owen College, which has struggled to address financial difficulties over the past several years. The Young Sanford Agency has provided spokespersons for the College which, this year, successfully maintained its accreditation status with the Southern Association for the Accreditation of Colleges and Schools.
May 2006 - Sanford Installs NAWBO Officers for 2007:
Elaine Sanford was the keynote speaker for the May 2006 Memphis Luncheon of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) held to install new officers for the 2006-07 year. As Founding Mother of the Memphis Chapter, Elaine was asked to conduct installation services.
June 2004-06:
A Commercial Appeal newspaper article announced the committee members chosen by Mayors Willie W. Herenton and Shelby County Mayor A C Wharton to serve on a panel to identify possible new uses for the Cityís Pyramid Arena and Mid-South Coliseum. Elaine Sanford, President and Owner of the Young Sanford Agency was among those asked to serve.
